In conjunction with a manual chain hoist, Fall-Eze serves as a cost-effective alternative to more expensive electric chain or cable-operated hoists. Offering two-speed variable operation for both swift, low-load handling, and slower, high-load tasks, Fall-Eze stands poised to disrupt and revolutionize hand-operated hoisting practices across construction and industrial sectors, all while eliminating repetitive motion injuries.



SteamFlex is an innovative solution to an old problem: cleaning log homes. By introducing steam as a way to clean log homes, SteamFlex gently and thoroughly cleans while eliminating the need for harsh or toxic chemicals. SteamFlex is a steamer attachment engineered to equally distribute steam across individual logs, for an efficient and eco-friendly clean.



Created to assist remote workers in virtual meetings, PauseMe is a bluetooth device that connects to Zoom and Microsoft Teams to make video calling easier and reduces the risk of background distractions. By pressing the buttons, you can remotely mute your voice and turn off your video without having to be at your computer when life happens.



The Samani Container was created by Frank and Patience Lee, who decided to create a better solution to moving furniture after watching men struggle to move a bed into an apartment doorway. Samani Container is a highly durable container meant for moving heavy objects around in a safer and more efficient manner. It can hold up to 70 pounds, and can withstand up to 500 pounds of pressure when empty.



JamBuddi was created to give guitar players, both new and experienced, a more comfortable alternative to the traditional guitar strap. In the way that JamBuddi anchors the guitar to the user, this method of supporting a guitar provides for more range of motion and maneuverability and also takes the weight of the guitar off the player’s neck and shoulder by placing it on their hip.



Created by Invent@NMU alum Henry Westlind, VirsaQuest is a part-inflatable, part-hardsided paddleboard with a transparent platform to peer into the beautiful waters below. It is also compatible with plug-and-play add-ons, called Vibes, such as a dual-purpose electric dive unit, an air tube dive unit, a backrest, and a yoga mat.



Developed by Earl Senchuk, the Crown FireTent™ is an all-weather, heat-resistant tent that can fit up to 15 people underneath it. Its unique chimney design sends smoke upwards and deters insects. The FireTent™ only requires one person to assemble it, and conveniently fits into one travel bag so that camping doesn’t have to be hard.



The Tinknocker tool was invented by sheet metal worker Ron Aho, who decided to create a product that would make hammering duct work easier on the body. After having rotator cuff surgery from manual hammering, Aho worked with Invent@NMU to bring his idea to life. The tool attaches to a hammer drill to drive cleats- so there’s no swinging necessary!



Introducing the revolutionary Trek-Tent, the world’s first free-standing tent that fully transforms into a trekking pole. This lightweight and compact tent is perfect for on-the-go adventurers who seek quick setup and takedown. Trek-Tent features a patent-pending frame design with mechanical components that allow it to transform from a pole into a fully functional tent.



Posture Plank was developed by Brian Kulbieda DC (Chiropractor) to make good posture cool again. With the continued growth of computer, tablet, and cell phone use, almost everyone is hunching forward over a screen. Posture Plank was developed to use “muscle memory” to help retrain and stretch posture-enhancing structures, muscle and tissue encouraging better posture!



Just one of many great inventions by Brian Janowski, the Hoodie 360 is a specialized sweatshirt that keeps even the most persistent pests away from your skin. Built with a mesh face covering and breathable yet durable fabric, the Hoodie 360 stylishly protects outdoor enthusiasts from bites and insect-borne diseases.



Hitch Hatchet is a convenient tool invented by Brian Janowski that helps split wood for a simpler and safer outdoor adventure. Just attach it to the hitch of your vehicle, place a piece of wood over the blade, and use a mallet to split the kindling. Just take the Hitch Hatchet on your next trip – no axe necessary!
